In the strategic world of Home Guard, you are the commander of a valiant band of guardian heroes, each with unique classes and abilities. Set in a richly detailed pixel art world, Home Guard blends classic tower defense mechanics with deep character management, creating a game where every decision counts.

  • Diverse Characters: Recruit and command a range of guardians, from stalwart melee warriors to powerful mages, each with distinct stats like speed, power, and stamina.
  • Strategic Gameplay: Build and fortify defenses to protect against a relentless tide of enemies. Choose your guardians wisely for each battle, balancing their strengths and weaknesses.
  • Stamina Management: Every wave and battle takes its toll. Manage your guardians' stamina to keep them in fighting shape. Let them rest and recover, or push them to their limits for greater rewards at a risk.
  • Progressive Challenges: Face increasingly difficult waves of enemies. Each level offers new challenges and requires fresh strategies to overcome.

As the commander of the Home Guard, you are the last line of defense against a seemingly endless onslaught. Will you spread your forces thin for greater coverage, or concentrate your might for a powerful but risky defense? The choices are yours, and each one shapes the fate of your bastion.

Join the ranks of "Home Guard" commanders and lead your guardians to victory!

Home Guard is a lot of fun and reminds me of Darkest Dungeon in the best way possible!

I loved being able to micro-manage my units during each wave, takes me back to my Starcraft days haha. Going to have to give this another shot later and see if Dalt can survive past level 5 or 6.

thanks for playing!  poor Dalt! he's just wants to live!

Fun game! I just started playing Darkest Dungeon - I wonder, did you take any inspiration from that?

On a less fun note, I tried playing this in full screen mode with Firefox. No bueno. Controls weren't responding properly.

yes, DD is a big influence! strange about firefox, it should work.  But Chrome and Edge should work best.

thanks! right now they are pretty basic (melee and ranged), but soon they will have their own passives and other abilities for each subclass.
